A Canadian Celtic Celebration An evening of Irish, Scottish, Québécois, Métis, Folk & World Music Tia Greenwood (cello), Tamsyn Klazek-Schryer (voice & fiddle) & Matisse Gubby-Hurtig (bass & guitar); Pierre Schryer (fiddle, foot percussion), Danielle Enblom (step dance) & Adam Dobres (guitar); Martin Nolan (uilleann pipes) from Dublin Ireland! Gabriola Island Community Hall SATURDAY AUGUST 2nd Doors at 6:30 pm, Concert at 7:00 PM Master Celtic musicians from Canada and Ireland are gathering for a an evening of fine musicianship and community fun. The Celtic Celebration will begin with a set from BC's upcoming emerging artists, Tia Greenwood, Tamsyn Klazek-Schryer and Matisse Gubby-Hurtig. After intermision, the concert will present one of Canada’s leading fiddlers Pierre Schryer, North American folk dance specialist Danielle Enblom, and guitar virtuoso Adam Dobres with collaborations from a special guest Martin Nolan, all the way from Dublin, perfoming on uilleann pipes!
