For a quarter century, the Mary Winspear Centre has served as a gathering place where people come together to celebrate, learn, connect, and create memories. Since opening its doors in 2001, the Centre has hosted thousands of events, performances, meetings, conferences, and community celebrations, becoming an important hub for the region. Visitors can expect a variety of community vendor displays, highlighting local service groups and organizations that help make the Peninsula such a vibrant place to live. Historical displays throughout the Centre will offer a fascinating look back at the building’s evolution and the many memorable events that have taken place over the past 25 years. The celebration will feature a full day of live entertainment for all ages, beginning with a special children's performance by Norman Foote, whose award-winning music and interactive show have delighted families across Canada. In the afternoon, the festivities continue with live local bands performing throughout the day, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
