Tidemark Theatre. American singer Linda Ronstadt is an award-winning superstar of both pop and country music. She has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. By the end of the 1960’s, Ronstadt had become a solo artist. She put out several albums with a series of backing bands, one of them was the nucleus of the group that would become the Eagles. Following a strong reception to her 1973 album “Don’t Cry Now” Ronstadt finally hit it big with “Heart Like a Wheel” (1974) In addition to the hits “You’re no Good” and “When will I be Loved” the album Featured a cover of Hank Williams “I can’t help it” (If Im still in Love with you) Which earned her the first of her 12 Grammy Awards. Classic Ronstadt (The Legacy of Linda) is fronted by D.L. Car, a multi- talented octave vocalist who also portrays two other iconic female singers Ann Wilson in the popular Heart tribute “Barracuda and Pat Benatar in the tribute act “All Fired Up”. Joining D.L. are a band consisting of some of the elite musicians on the Pacific West Coast. An Oji-Cree singer-songwriter from the Sucker Clan of Sandy Lake First Nation, Aysanabee has emerged as one of the defining voices in contemporary Canadian music. His breakthrough album Watin—named in honour of his grandfather—introduced audiences to deeply personal songs exploring family, identity, intergenerational resilience, and healing. His sophomore release, Here and Now, made history at the 2024 JUNO Awards when he became the first Indigenous artist to win both Alternative Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. He followed that achievement with two more JUNO Awards in 2026 for Edge of the Earth, winning Alternative Album of the Year and Contemporary Indigenous Artist (or Group) of the Year.
