ArtSpring – Theatre. Can we take meaningful action on climate change without damaging our economy? For more than two decades, journalist and author Arno Kopecky has examined the difficult trade-offs that define our relationship with nature. Kopecky has travelled the globe reporting from the front lines of environmental change, asking uncomfortable questions about conservation, climate change, Indigenous rights, and energy. Rather than offering easy answers, he challenges us to think more deeply about what it really means to live sustainably. Arno Kopecky is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Maclean’s, The Guardian, The Narwhal, The Tyee, and many other publications. League 181 : Working Together
ArtSpring – Lobby. League 181 was established in 2013 by a small group of experienced painters with the compact of mutual help, learning and development. The central idea is that we benefit by painting together in a group, both by discussion of the craft and by observation of each other. 181 painters are: Judith Borbas, Peter Eyles, Don Hodgins, AFCA, Wendy Wickland and Dulcy Wilson.
