Mystic Celtic Soul singer and songwriter, Van Morrison has placed his indelible stamp upon Western Music culture with a career spanning over half a century! As the voice of “Van the Man” Bruce Coughlan (ISSA International Singer Songwriter Award Top Male Vocalist 2024) brings one of his major influences to life with an uncanny ability to make you shut your eyes and think the great Van is in the room. The band with Bruce includes some of the top musicians on Canada’s West Coast Including Tiller’s Folly bandmate Laurence Knight, Bass and Vocals, Greg Stuart Drums and Vocals, Lee Warden Keys Guitar Vocals, Karen Graves, saxes flute and vocals, and Geeta Das Trumpet. Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, BRENT BUTT discovered early that being funny was a good way to get attention. Brent honed his comedy in school and at the age of 20 moved to the city to pursue a career in stand-up. Within months he was headlining top clubs in Toronto, and within a couple years he was touring internationally and appearing at major festivals. His television specials quickly secured his reputation as one of the funniest people in the country, but he was also busy creating his own TV series – a sitcom called CORNER GAS. It became an instant hit with unprecedented ratings and numerous accolades including an International Emmy Award nomination, and was named "Funniest Show on TV" by TV Guide readers. Canada’s favourite comedy is now shown in over 26 countries including the US. The final episode of the series was “the highest (rated) on record for a Canadian scripted series since it began keeping track in 1994” Brent’s follow-up series HICCUPS ran for two seasons. In 2013 Brent was honoured with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to community and country. Throughout history, our perception of ourselves and our place in nature has been changed by science. And it's not over. There is still a great deal we don't know about the nature of the universe. American singer Linda Ronstadt is an award-winning superstar of both pop and country music. She has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. By the end of the 1960's, Ronstadt had become a solo act. She put out several albums with a series of backing bands, one of them the nucleus of the group that would become the Eagles. Following a stronger reception of her 1973 album Don't Cry Now , Ronstadt finally hit it big with Heart Like a Wheel (1974). In addition to the hits "You're No Good" and "When Will I Be Loved," the album featured a cover of Hank Williams's "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still In Love With You)," which earned the singer the first of 12 Grammy Awards. Classic Ronstadt (The Legacy of Linda) is fronted by D.L. Car who is a multi-talented vocalist who also portrays another iconic female singer Ann Wilson in the popular Heart Tribute act Barracuda. Joining D.L. are a band consisting of some of the elite musicians on the Pacific West Coast.
