Centre of the Universe Presents Bob McDonald Sold Out

About this event

"What if Everything We Know is Wrong?” Presenter: Bob McDonald, a multi-media presentation including video & pictures. To all our senses, the Earth appears flat and unmoving. It took more than 2000 years of science to figure out that our perceptions are wrong—that we live on a spinning ball racing through space faster than a rocket. Throughout history, our perception of ourselves and our place in nature has been changed by science. And it's not over. There is still a great deal we don't know about the nature of the universe. A fundraiser for Astronomy Outreach. All ticket proceeds directly support public stargazing and science education at the Centre of the Universe. The Centre of the Universe is a leading astronomy attraction in Greater Victoria, located at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. It is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in space, stargazing, and Canadian astronomy history. Monday, September 28, 2026 at the Mary Winspear Centre, Sidney.
