Master musicians from Guinea, China, India, Zimbabwe, Iran, Cuba, Ethiopia and Canada come together in the spirit of exploration, sharing and improvisation to create entirely new music out of their traditional roots. This is not “East Meets West” or “fusion”, it is intercultural music that allows each tradition to interweave with the others without losing themselves and allow something beautiful and unexpected to arise as a result.
