Matt Andersen has spent more than two decades earning a reputation as one of Canada’s great live performers, bringing his unmistakable voice and incredible guitar playing to stages around the world. From intimate theatres to major international festivals, the New Brunswick singer-songwriter has built a devoted following with performances that can shift from quiet and soulful to big and powerful. He’s toured and shared stages with Marcus King, Beth Hart, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Bachman, Serena Ryder, and more. Andersen was the first Canadian to win the solo category at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, has earned multiple Maple Blues Awards and two European Blues Awards, and received a 2024 JUNO nomination with Matt Andersen & The Big Bottle of Joy. Now touring in support of his latest album, The Hammer & The Rose, Andersen returns to the Tidemark after selling out the theatre on his last visit.
