About Gulf Island Kayaking
Guided kayak tours of three to six hours from Montague Harbour Marina on Galiano Island, with several departures a day through summer and beginner trips among them. Multi-day camping trips run two to seven days, self-guided with a guide at base camp, and there are single and double kayaks, canoes and paddleboards to rent. Guides talk through the shoreline natural history and the seal rookeries; the same outfit has run Costa Rica trips each winter since 1987.
