More than 300 campsites where the Nanaimo River meets Nanaimo Harbour — oceanside, ocean view, forested and riverside, with full, partial or no service and 30 and 50 amp hookups. There are showers and flush toilets, wifi, a games room, basketball, bocce and beach volleyball, paved roads for cycling, and a seasonal café with a deck over the water; the river is swimmable. It stays open year-round, five minutes' walk from shops and buses and twelve minutes' drive from the ferries.
