Small-ship expedition cruises run out of Government Street in Victoria on three vessels — the 1904 schooner Maple Leaf, which takes eight guests, the 1912 Swell with twelve, and Cascadia with twenty-four. Trips of five to nine days go to the Great Bear Rainforest, Haida Gwaii, Desolation Sound, the Gulf Islands and southeast Alaska, from around $6,300 for six days.
