Nixon Creek Recreational Site is a family friendly campsite located on Cowichan Lake. There are 64 sites, both forested and waterfront: 20 first come first serve and 42 reservation spots, plus a camp store. The site has hiking trails and offers water wind sports with steady afternoon thermal winds: wing foiling, kiteboarding and sailing.
