About North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre
Wildlife rehabilitation and education centre in Errington, about 5 minutes from Parksville. Visitors walk forested grounds to see non-releasable animals such as bald eagles, black bears and owls, and learn how injured and orphaned wildlife is rescued and released. Open daily 9 am to 4:30 pm, closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Admission: adults $15 + tax, children 4–16 $6 + tax, 3 and under free, veterans and military free. Dogs are not permitted.
