About PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park)
PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park) is a 188-hectare Saanich park holding the largest urban forest on the Saanich Peninsula, with more than 21 km of trails running from the rocky summit down to the beach. PKOLS is the SENĆOŦEN name for the mountain, an important place for the W̱SÁNEĆ people; the name was officially restored in 2022.
