All-day event — no published start time. Battersea Park, London UK. Join UVic alumni and friends in the fight against cancer. Run, walk or roll in this annual, family-friendly, Canadian tradition honouring national hero Terry Fox and his legacy. He began a marathon to end cancer and together, we can help finish it. UVic was the first Canadian university to take part in the London, UK run. Join us in our fourth year of this growing tradition as we come together in community and spirit to honour a great Canadian and show what we can accomplish together. Following the Terry Fox Run is an alumni and friends pub meetup at the nearby Prince Albert Pub - Battersea. Attend one event or both!

BC Aviation Museum

The BC Aviation Museum is at 1910 Norseman Road in North Saanich, beside Victoria International Airport and a short drive from downtown Victoria. It is the forever home of the Hawaii Martin Mars, with flight deck tours offered every Saturday, and its collection includes the Snowbird Tutor, a Douglas A26 Invader and a Trans Canada Airlines Vickers Viscount 757. The site also holds the Robert Hampton Gray, Aircrew Association and Hospital Hill memorials, plus a children's play area and a gift shop. Open daily 10:00am to 4:00pm, and 9:30am to 4:30pm from July 1 to August 31; closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
