Have you shared your data, pre-registered a study, published open access, or used open-source tools in your research? The new Open Science Award, funded by the Kula Libraries Future Academy, recognizes UVic graduate students who have made their research or scholarly work open. The prize is $1,000. Applications are due by January 31, 2027. Join us to learn what the award is about, how applications are evaluated, and how to put together a strong submission. We'll walk through open science principles, the judging criteria, and the essay and reference letter requirements.
