SSI Spinners and Weavers Guild Fall Exhibition and Sale
About this event
Salt Spring’s Weavers and Spinners Guild returns to ArtSpring for its annual fall exhibition and sale from October 22-25. We cordially invite you to drop by to browse for one-of-a-kind gifts or to chat with guild members about their textile passions. This is a dynamic group of textile artisans who handcraft both practical and decorative items using any of the fibre manipulation techniques: spinning, weaving, felting, knitting, crochet, braiding and dyeing. You can expect to find a beautiful, eclectic collection of products ranging from the ever popular tea towels and table linens to cozy blankets, elegant scarves and shawls, and uniquely designed knitwear. Other items will include mill-spun knitting yarns and possibly spinning fibre from some of the guild’s shepherds.
