About Fillongley Park
Fillongley Park is a small, quiet park on Denman Island's north-east shore. It was once the estate of settler George Beadnell, who left it to the province. A grassy former bowling green fills with spring wildflowers, and trails lead through old-growth cedar to a salmon-spawning stream and the remains of the homestead. Ten oceanfront campsites are usually full on summer weekends, so reserve ahead.
