About Forbidden Plateau Mountain Resort & Campground
Forbidden Plateau Campground and RV Park is a 5 acre campground located on the site of the original 1930s Forbidden Plateau Ski Resort, less than a km from the old ski hill, tracks, and lifts abandoned in the 90s. Eight seasonal camping sites plus two overflow are available May through September. Hiking and mountain biking through Strathcona provincial Park right from your campsite, with mountain bike shuttles to Barbers Hole parking lot. Amenities include electric sauna with cold shower and cold plunge, pool, hot showers, ice, wood, snacks, and supplies on site.
