About Mount Washington Alpine Resort

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is the ski area above the Comox Valley, reached by the Strathcona Parkway from Highway 19. In winter it offers downhill skiing and snowboarding, night skiing, and Nordic and snowshoe trails that run into Strathcona Provincial Park at Paradise Meadows. In summer it is open for lift-served mountain biking and hiking. The tentative opening day for the 2026/27 winter season is December 11, 2026; check the resort's conditions and lift status before you drive up, and be ready for winter road conditions.
