About Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum
Ross Bay Villa is a Gothic-Revival family home built in 1865 on the old Fairfield Farm Estate, one of only a dozen or so houses of the 1860s still standing in the City of Victoria. Volunteers restored the house and garden over 14 years to the period (1865-1879) when the Roscoe family lived there. The volunteer Ross Bay Villa Society owns and operates it as a working heritage site and museum, with guided house tours.
