About Upper Campbell Reservoir Campground
BC Hydro's Upper Campbell Reservoir campground opened in February 2021 near the southeastern end of Upper Campbell Reservoir. The recreation area offers 21 campsites, trails, a beach area, and an informal boat launch for 4x4 vehicles launching small boats. Fishing access includes rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and Dolly Varden char. The site is open year-round with views of the Campbell River watershed and Strathcona Provincial Park mountains.
