About Tribune Bay Park
Tribune Bay Park has almost 1 km of fine white-sand beach on Hornby Island, sloping into the warm, shallow water of the Strait of Georgia. Weathered sandstone formations line the shore, and wildflowers bloom in spring. The day-use area has picnic tables, outhouses and a tennis court, and the campground has 24 sites with electrical hook-ups that you can reserve. The Hornby Island Co-op and the island's shops are a short walk away. The day-use gate usually closes at 9 pm.
